So good that after a while you have more babies than you can give away. Even in a community tank they are more than capable of guarding their babies.

The courting colours make them a striking fish when they are breeding and I've always liked convicts.

The first pair and their fry and doing well... they are using nearly half the tank...

The second pair ate their wrigglers a couple of days ago and the male ousted the female from the cave...

Should I change the female??? OR

Should I take 1 of the 2 females out of the 10 gallon and put the male in its place???

I have A big male Convict, a smaller male and 2 females. Then a pair of big Albino Convicts , had them a year and just over a month ago changed them to bigger tank. They are in with a pair of Firemouths, and a another pair of (white glisten , with tuft of black in dorsal fin that's 98% white) they also have a black dot on them. Plus 3 suckers . It is overstocked but they all get on ; have an odd chase. I took 4 pics to put on and cannot get them to the size the forum wants ; so stumped
