UV Filters

PostAuthor: nshaw75 » Fri May 16, 2014 08:58

I have seen a UV filter which I am contemplating buying.

Does anybody else use these and how do they work? Do they just prevent algae growth or do they kill the algae off that has already established?

thanks for the reply. I was in two minds as to whether to buy one. I still am. I haven't had much trouble with any disease or anything, was just going to use it purely to keep the tank clean.
