Hello!

PostAuthor: Kev_M » Mon Apr 01, 2013 00:22

Hi,

I've been lurking on here for quite a while now and figured it was finally time to pipe up and reveal myself. I've recently taken delivery of a 4' x 2' x 2' from ND Aquatics, and I'm currently going round and round in circles trying to decide what to put in it. I've settled on Mbuna but I'm having some trouble sourcing quality stock that fits into what I'm looking for (contrast, extremely low risk of hyper dominance and/or hybridization).

Ah well, more research beckons!

HI and welcome to the forum :hi

Not too sure what stockists you have in your area but Colin at Natural World stocks some good fish (wild and tank bred), also worth googling Mike's Rifts as he has some good stock. Both post but Colin is nearer to you :good:

In addition to those lots of members of the forum breed so keep an eye on the for sale section as you can get some good groups for not too much cash.

welcome kev, nice sized tank the extra few inches front to back is great for aquascaping the tank n gives you a few extra options, quite a few breeders round your way, also as stated colin is top notch with his fish, keep checking the for sale section on here, or aquarists classifieds although you have to be very cautious with classifieds as there's some that slightly exagerate exactly what they are selling
mind that 3ft wall keith its hard to see over the top when you are my height.
